Dice que la introducción del cristianismo por los "jesuitas portugueses" fue la mayor amenaza contra la nación japonesa, en el capítulo 16 titulado "el peligro jesuita", p. 303-4, pero en la edición citada en la bibliografía ese cap. empieza en p. 331 y la cita en 333: Excepting, perhaps, the division of the imperial house against itself in the twelfth century, the greatest danger that ever threatened Japanese national integrity was the introduction of Christianity p. 334 by the Portuguese Jesuits. The nation saved itself only by ruthless measures, at the cost of incalculable suffering and of myriads of lives.
